We have health and safety inspectors with a wealth of experience of building, civil engineering, chemical and petrochemical construction.
Health and safety starts with a review of the planned work to:
- consider and eliminate hazards
- have suitable method statements prepared
- ensure access is ready
- ensure the right equipment is available
We utilise the design hazard review experience of our CDM Co-ordinators to help guide the review of proposed work plans and ensure they are practical, not paper chase exercises.
We do not want to make adverse comment on the method of working and lack of equipment when the workers are on site and working; we want the men to come prepared.
We are capable of taking control of safety of work operations and supervising operations.
We review the management of projects as this is fundamental to safe site operations— if the site manager has little regard for site safety then the workforce will be the same.
And some of us can do this with a sense of humour—but not always.
